Jorge Lujan, 43 of Bulverde, Texas passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas.

Jorge was born on December 7, 1976 in Roswell, New Mexico to Jose Lujan and Gloria Castillo. He married the love of his life Sonia on July 7, 2019 in Bulverde, Texas. Jorge was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle and great friend to those who knew him. My husband was a “true horseman”. He loved his horses and dogs. He was a horse trainer. He loved shoeing horses and he loved riding his horses with his son, Jayden. Jorge was living his best life attending concerts, rodeo’s, dancing, BBQ’s, spending quality time with friends and family, going to see his favorite college team Texas A&M, the Aggies. He was a gentle giant with a kind heart who loved to serve the Lord and was a proud father when his son, Jayden accepted Jesus Christ as Lord his Savior. His love for his wife was a true love story that brought happiness to his heart and soul finding his true love. Jayden was his pride and joy. He loved him with all his heart and soul. Jorge always had a special bond with kids and he loved his nieces and nephews very much. He will truly be missed. He is preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents, Alfredo, and Marcela Lujan, maternal grandparents, Alfonso and Dulces Castillo.

He is survived by his wife, Sonia Lujan of Bulverde, Texas, son, Jayden Matthew Lujan of Kerrville, Texas, mother, Gloria Castillo of Andrews, Texas, 4 sisters, Nora Miller, and husband Zac of Andrews, Texas Maricela Montoya, and husband Ruben of Andrews, Texas Criselda Gonzales, and husband Oscar of Austin, Texas, Laura Smith, and husband Christopher, of Austin, Texas. 3 brothers Alfonso Lujan, and wife Anna of Andrews, Texas Eric Lujan, and wife Natalie, of San Antonio, Texas, Edgar Lujan, and wife Andrea of San Antonio, Texas, 13 nieces, and 5 nephews.
