Linda Rainey, 73, passed away on March 12, 2020 in Andrews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Andrews with Dr. Brant O’Connor officiating. Linda was born on January 1, 1947 in San Angelo, Texas to Virgil and Mary Sanders. She married Gary F. Rainey on November 11, 1989 in Odessa, Texas. Linda loved Jesus and loved the beautiful sunrise he provided each morning. She loved her sheep, family and her stock show kids who knew her as “Meme”. Linda was involved with the Andrews 4-H club, Andrews County Stock Show, Texas Pecan Growers Association, Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association, Texas Lamb Breeders Association, and Texas Finewool Breeders. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Linda is survived by her husband, Gary of Andrews. Children, Michele Lee and husband W.T. Skip Leake of Fort Worth, Texas, Jimmy Lee and wife Youlonda of Odessa, Texas and Nicole Leone and husband John of Framington, Massachuetts, siblings, Gloria Biehle of Rockdale, Texas, Billy Sanders of Terrell, Texas and Kathy Hunt of Comanche, Texas, grandchildren, Amber and husband Eliahs, Braden and wife Amanda, Lindsey and husband Colin, Lily and husband Calvin, Bryson, Dalton, Taylor, Jack and Dominic, Great-grandchildren, Fynlee, Braxton, Brylee, Madison, Abigail, McKenzi, Raylee, Cole and Chloe.
