Ruby McReynolds, 96, of Andrews passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Mo’s Country Living in Andrews.

 

Visitation will be Monday 68 Pm at McNett Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 Am Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bill Melton will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

 

Ruby was born January 26, 1916 in Eastland County, Texas to Henry and Cora Effie Stephenson. She married Tommie McReynolds, April 11, 1933 in Clovis New Mexico. They were long-time Andrews residents.

She drove a school bus for Andrews Independent School District for over 30 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved to go arrowhead hunting and was a past member of the archeology club. She enjoyed taking art lessons. She liked to sew and quilt and she made Jelly for friends and family. Ruby was a rancher wife and she enjoyed cooking for her family and the ranch hands.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1984, her son Brandon McReynolds, eleven brothers and sisters and two grandchildren.

 

She is survived by her daughters, Tommie Jean Arnold of Andrews; Polly Terry of Andrews and Betty Sayers of Comanche, Texas; one son, Mack McReynolds and his wife Heather of Andrews; fifteen grandchildren; twenty eight great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
