Bobbie Jean Dallas Gross, 81, of Hemphill, Texas and formerly of Andrews, Texas passed away early Tuesday February 14, 2012 at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2012 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Bobbie’s Son-In-Law, Rev. Harvie Neatherlin will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Bobbie was born September 12, 1930 in Beeville, Texas to Henry Ervin and Nora Lee Burrell. She moved to Andrews in 1968. She married Roy Dallas December 7, 1968 in Ft Worth. He preceded her in death in 1994.

Bobbie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Andrews and loved being active in her Sunday school class and was very involved in church activities. She was also very active with the Hospital Auxiliary the “Pink Ladies” in Andrews and she loved her time serving with them. She delivered food with “Meals on Wheels” in Andrews. Bobbie was a caregiver and was always looking for an opportunity to help someone.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Vernice, Cecil and Herbert Burrell.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Caraway and his wife Betsy of Porto Rico; daughter Connie Neatherlin and husband Harvie of Little Elm, Texas; grandsons Timothy and Benjamin Neatherlin and three great-granddaughters, Emalee, Bailee and Kynslee.
