#3 Dee Becker 2012-01-09 09:31 I was saddened to learn of John's death. He was such a good friend and fellow teacher. He had a sense of humor all his own. I have a mental image of him lighting his pipe…it always reminded me of my grandfather. Please know Pat and family you are in our prayers and may God hold you close in the coming days. If weather permits I want to come to the services but if roads are too slick know you will be in our thoughts.

Remembering a Good Friend,
Dee, Steve & Creecy

#8 Paula McDole Taylor 2012-01-12 04:57 I was so sad to hear the news that Mr. Tausch had passed. As a 42 year old mother of two teenagers, I have come to appreciate my own upbringing and education more than I ever could before becoming a mom myself. Mr. Tausch was my favorite teacher! It's amazing that looking back, I would remember an elementary school teacher as having such an impact on my life. I reference him on a reguar basis with my own kids and laugh about certain stories from Mr. Tausch's class with my own parents. And he taught me how to spell my first "BIG word" accommodate. I always felt smarter after that! ;) Thank you Mr. Tausch for dedicating your life to bringing up children to be responsible adults. And to his family, I will pray that your sadness is lessoned by all the wonderful memories of him and the knowledge of what a wonderful legacy he left behind. We are all so much better for having known him, if only for a brief time. Quote
