Obituary for Norma Jean Graham
Norma Jean Graham, 85, of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in Andrews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 9, 2017 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Pastor Kevin Covington officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Please celebrate her life by visiting www.mcnettfuneralhome.com.
Norma Jean was born on September 19, 1931 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Emmett Eugene Meador, Jr. and Annette O’Neal Meador. She married Dois Wayne “Dick” Graham on December 18, 1948 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. They moved to Andrews in 1987 from Goldsmith, and they loved to travel and collect state magnets from each state they visited. She had worked for J.C. Penney for many years at their downtown location in Odessa. She was a homemaker and collected crosses. She was a longtime member of the PRMC Pink Ladies Auxiliary in Andrews. She was a past member of Calvary Baptist Church and a current member of Second Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on October 4, 2001, her son, Dennis Graham in 2015, her parents, and 3 brothers, Donald, Richard, and Dale Meador.
Norman Jean is survived by her 1 son, Michael Graham and wife, Debra, of Lawn, 1 sister, Laura Wingfield and husband, Ezra, of Benton, Arkansas, 5 grandchildren, Jason Graham and wife, Tammy, of Andrews, Kaci Tauriainen and husband, Jason, of Nikiski, Alaska, Erin Newman and husband, Marshall, of Ovalo, Texas, Dennis Graham and wife, Cristi, of Marble Falls, and Eric Graham of Corsicana, and 11 great grandchildren.
